A Tribute to Workshop No. 8
In 1944, behind the doors of an experimental workshop at Piaggio's Pontedera plant, a small team began shaping a two-wheeler that would change how Italy moved. That workshop was designated Officina 8, and the Vespa Officina 8 carries its name.
The finish is a deep industrial blue drawn from the machinery of that era, offset by metal detailing, polished brass rivets and contrast stitching across the saddle. It is a workwear aesthetic reworked as something you'd happily park outside a restaurant on Marine Drive. Underneath sits the same monocoque steel body and i-get engine that make every Vespa feel unhurried and precise, in 125cc and 150cc forms.
